St. Mary’s College Hosts ‘Ryzen 23’
Shirva, May 03, 2023: The computer science department of St. Mary’s College, Shirva, in collaboration with the IT Club, organized ‘Ryzen 23,’ an IT competition from April 24th to 29th, 2023.
The prize distribution ceremony was held on Wednesday, May 3rd, where the President of the program, Dr. Herald Ivan Monis, Principal of the college, spoke and distributed prizes to the students.
Lt. K. Praveen Kumar, Head of the Computer Science Department and IT Club Director of the college, guided the students and emphasized how every student can develop various skills hidden within them to win competitions in this competitive age.
The competition included quizz, coding, gaming, rangoli, mock interviews, poster making, treasure hunt, and PowerPoint presentation competitions to enhance the various skills hidden in the students. Lecturers Divyashree B, Sushma, and all the students, teaching and administrative staff, were present at the event.
On the same occasion, Nivedita Nikhil Poojari was felicitated for her placement in the Wipro Campus Placement Drive. Elrusha Milina D’sa read out the prize list while student leaders Gaurav and team, Anup Nayak, and Alister Sujoy Dsouza helped to ensure smooth conduct of the competitions.
The gathering was welcomed by Chaya Karkera, and Padmashree Bhat proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Faiza Bhanu.
