Shirva: St Mary’s College celebrates 75th Army Day
Shirva, Jan 14, 2023: NCC Army wing of St. Mary’s College, and 21 Karnataka Battalion NCC Udupi jointly celebrated the 75th Indian Army Day today.
College Principal Dr. Herald Ivan Monis guided the program. NCC officer Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar spoke about the uniqueness of the Army.
Cadet Gautamik Karkera spoke about the purpose and importance of the program.
The event was attended by Havildar Vinod Rai and Ameer Tamanga of 21 Karnataka Battalion NCC Udupi.
Senior under-officer Mohit N Salian, Junior under-officer Dheeraj Acharya, Lobo Ann Riya Neville, and all the cadets were present.
Lance Corporal Shettygar Hemashree Sudarshan, Anish Bhat Cadet Anup Nayak, and Alistar Sujay D’Souza co-operated. Cadet Pooja welcomed the gathering and Punya HR delivered the vote of thanks. The program was moderated by Rahul Achar.
