Udupi records 227 cases

Udupi, Sep 10: Udupi district on Thursday recorded 227 new cases and 4 deaths.

The number of cases increased notably in Karkala which recorded the second highest number of cases in the district.

Udupi Taluk had 119 cases followed by Karkala (56) and Kundapur (42). Ten patients were from other districts.

Of the total patients the number of symptomatic (121) was more than asymptomatic (106).
Death: 3 from Udupi taluk and one from Karkala.
