IGP-WR initiates disciplinary action against Kota SI
Udupi, Dec 29, 2021: Considering the report of Udupi SP, the Western Range Inspector General of Police (IGP) has initiated disciplinary action against Kota Sub Inspector Santhosh.
The IGP-WR has issued orders suspending the PSI who has been accused of assaulting the innocent people attending a Mehendi event.
SI Santhosh had allegedly assaulted people at a Mehendi event of a family from the Koraga tribal community at Kotathattu of Udupi district on Dec 27 night.
“Kota station PSI has been suspended by Western Range IGP based on my report. Other staff will be transferred out of Kota station,” Udupi SP said.
