54 cases booked against quarantine violators
Mangaluru: Taking strict action in the fight against COVID, Dakshina Kannada district administration has booked cases against 54 people for violating quarantine norms.
FIR has been filed against them after it was proved that they were going out from the house, thereby violating quarantine norms. Of these 10 cases were booked in Puttur Taluk and remaining in Mangaluru.
Officials keep a track of every person under quarantine and ensure that the people adhere to the rules. Dakshina Kannada district is the topper in the state for tracking people in quarantine.
Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh has warned strict action against such violations.
