COVID-19: Uttara Kannada records 88 new cases

Karwar, July 24: Uttara Kannada district on Friday recorded 88 new cases and one death.

The total number of cases in the district is 1,506 of which 734 are active. To date 758 have been cured and discharged in the district. 

Of the 88 cases, Kumta recorded the highest number with 30 cases. Karwar and Yellapur taluks did not record any cases on Friday. A death was recorded at Mundagod taluk. Of the 88 cases 63 are contacts of the existing patients.
