COVID-19: Udupi records 200-plus cases on Tuesday
Udupi, Aug 11: The number of cases increased again in Udupi district on Tuesday. The district recorded 219 cases of which 115 are from Udupi taluk, 68 from Kundapura, and 33 from Karkala. Three cases are from other districts.

The total number of cases in the district is 6,510 of which 2,676 are active cases and 3768 discharged.
Health officials said that four deaths were reported on Tuesday which includes a 35 year male from Karkala, a 48-year-old male from Byndoor, a 66-year-old male, and 41 year male from Udupi taluks.
Of the 219 cases reported on Tuesday 58 are symptomatic and 161 asymptomatic.
