Madhav Nayak seeks action against elements behind viral video
Karwar, Sept 03, 2021: Finding a video clipping being circulated on social media which could disturb communal harmony, Janashakthi Vedike president Madhav B Nayak has filed a complaint with the police.
Madhav Nayak, along with Advocate K R Desi and activists C N Naik and Suraj Kurmkar submitted a complaint to the DG-IGP of Karnataka through Uttara Kannada Superintendent of Police today.
“I received a video clipping on my mobile phone today in one of the WhatsApp groups. A woman was seen administering an oath in the video. She is heard making some statements that could hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindus and result in communal tension in the society,” he stated in the complaint.
“We do not know if the video is real or fake. Earlier we have seen video clippings with edited voice. Let the police department probe and find out if the video is true or fake. We want the police to take action on those trying to create problem,” he demanded.
