Person who allegedly set fire on beef stall arrested
Mangaluru, Jan 16, 2021: Mangaluru City Police have arrested a person who allegedly set fire on the beef stall at Ullal.
On the intervening night of January 8 and 9, some unknown miscreants set fire to the shed of a beef stall located at Ullal. A case was registered at Ullal Police Station following a complaint by Haneef, the owner of the shop. It was not an easy task for the police as there was no clue. However, the only hope was the CCTV footage.
The CCTV footages revealed the movement of some suspicious strangers in the vicinity of the meat stall. Based on credible information one Nagaraj of Olapete was secured by Mangaluru City Police today morning.
The secured person on interrogation revealed that it was he who had set fire to the shed of the meat stall.
