Kunjarugiri: Sevapatra Unveiled for Jeernodhara of Sri Banateertha Umamaheshwara Sannidhi

Udupi, July 21, 2026: The restoration process of the Banateertha Sri Umamaheshwara Sannidhi at Kunjarugiri commenced with the unveiling of the Sevapatra by Sri Eeshapriya Theertha Sripadaru, junior Matadhipathi of the Sri Admar Matha. The pontiff also flagged off a weekly cleanliness drive to be held every Sunday.
Marking the beginning of the process, Sri Eshapriya Theertha also inaugurated a weekly environmental cleanliness campaign, which will be held every Sunday in and around the temple premises.

Addressing devotees, Sripadaru said that along with serving Lord Rudra, devotees must actively participate in maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment. “Only when the surroundings in which we live remain clean will our minds remain pure. By preserving the environment, we not only render service to God but also to the nation,” he said.
