Udupi: Applications Invited for Post-Matric Hostel Admissions
Udupi, May 19, 2026: The Department of Backward Classes Welfare has invited online applications from students seeking admission to post-matric hostels for the current academic year.
According to a release from the Commissioner’s Office of the Backward Classes Welfare Department, students pursuing PUC courses and seeking fresh admission to hostels can apply online.
June 15 has been fixed as the last date for submission of applications. Taluk Welfare Officers will verify the applications by June 17, while the selection list of students will be published on June 19.
Selected students must complete admission formalities and join the hostels on or before June 25, the release stated.
