Manipal: Kasturba Hospital to Hold Integrated Liver & Transplant Clinic on Feb 3
Manipal, January 29, 2026: Kasturba Hospital, Manipal will conduct its next Integrated Liver & Transplant Clinic on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, as part of a monthly initiative aimed at improving access to advanced liver care closer to patients’ homes.
The clinic, to be held from 10 am to 4 pm, will take place on the first Tuesday of every month. It is designed to provide specialised liver and transplant services, including early diagnosis, expert evaluation and continuity of care, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances.
The initiative follows the successful launch of the Manipal Integrated Liver & Transplant Clinic last month.
The clinic will be led by Dr. Jayanth Reddy, Lead Consultant – HPB & Liver and Pancreatic Transplant, and Dr. Deepthi Ramachandra, Consultant – HPB & Liver and Pancreatic Transplant, from Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bengaluru. They will work in coordination with Dr. Ganesh Bhat, Head of the Department of Gastroenterology, and Dr. Shiran Shetty, Professor and Unit Head, Department of Gastroenterology, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
Services will cover the management of acute and chronic liver disease, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis and its complications, liver tumours and cancer, hepatorenal syndrome, paediatric liver conditions, and pre- and post-liver transplant evaluation.
Hospital authorities said the initiative reinforces Kasturba Hospital, Manipal’s role as a regional referral centre for advanced and affordable liver care for patients from coastal Karnataka and neighbouring regions.
