Dakshina Kannada Declares Holiday for Schools, PU Colleges on Dec 3
Mangaluru, Dec 2, 2024: With heavy rains lashing Dakshina Kannada under the influence of Cyclone Fengal, orange alert has been declared for the district. The district administration has declared a holiday for all Anganwadis, Schools and Pre-University (PU) Colleges in the district on December 3, 2024.
The announcement was made by the Deputy Commissioner, who confirmed that the holiday applies to all government, aided, and private primary and high schools, as well as PU colleges across the district’s taluks.
