Srinivas Institute of Technology Women’s Kabaddi Team Wins VTU Championship
Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2024: The women’s Kabaddi team from Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Mangaluru, emerged as champions in the Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU) Belgaum Mangaluru Zone inter-college Kabaddi Tournament, held at Sahyadri College, Mangaluru.
SIT has consistently encouraged its students to participate in sports, and this victory is a clear reflection of the institution’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded development for its students, particularly supporting women athletes.
Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao, President of A. Shyama Rao Foundation, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Vice President, and Dr. Srinivasa Mayya D., Principal of the college, congratulated the team on their success.
