Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2024: The Sangeet Bharati Foundation, Mangaluru, is set to present ‘Raag Vihaar,’ a Hindustani classical music event, on November 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Fr. L.F. Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block, St. Aloysius College (Gate 02), Light House Hill Road, Mangalore.

The program will feature a sarod recital by acclaimed artist Abhishek Borkar from Pune, accompanied by tabla maestro Trilochan Kampli from Bangalore. Renowned vocalist Kumar Mardur from Dharwad will also perform, supported by harmonium expert Prof. Narendra L. Nayak from Mangalore and tabla artist Jagadeesh Kurthkoti from Bangalore.

C. Krishniah Chetty and Co., a leading jewelry brand in Bangalore owned by Ganesh Narayan Cotha, is the event’s main sponsor. Both Borkar and Mardur come from distinguished musical families and have been performing from a young age, earning them a reputable place in the Indian classical music community.
