World Iodine Deficiency Disorder Control Day Event in Mangaluru on Oct 21
Mangaluru, Oct 20, 2024: The district-level World Iodine Deficiency Disorder Control Day will be held on October 21 at Padua School, Nanthoor.
Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan M.P. will inaugurate the event, and Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo, Director of Padua Educational Institutions, will preside over the program. Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat, Dr. Anand K., will be present.
The event is being jointly organized by the Dakshina Kannada District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, District Health and Family Welfare Department, District Survey Unit, and Padua High School.
Dr. Annayya Kulal, Senior Medical Officer from Wenlock District Hospital’s Palliative Care Division, will serve as a resource person, according to a press release from the District Health and Family Welfare Department.
