MAHE: Department of Student Affairs Hosts Gender Champion Awareness Workshop 3.0
Manipal, Sept 20, 2024: The Department of Student Affairs at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) organized the Gender Champion Awareness Workshop 3.0 at the KMC Interact Hall.
The event gathered student gender champions and faculty members from various MAHE institutions to discuss gender sensitivity and inclusivity on campus.
Dr. Raviraja N S, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MAHE, was the Chief Guest. In his address he stressed the importance of gender champions in promoting equality and respect within university environments. Saraswathy, Director of Finance, served as Guest of Honour and highlighted the significance of gender equality in the growth and development of both students and staff.
Dr. Geetha Maiya, Director of Student Affairs, welcomed the gathering and Dr. Aravind Pandey, Deputy Director (Health Science), delivered the vote of thanks.
