 MAHE Celebrates World Photography Day with Vibrant Exhibition and Workshop

Manipal, Sept 02, 2024: In honor of World Photography Day 2024, the Directorate of PR, Media, and Social Media at MAHE, in collaboration with the Centre for SADBHAVA and the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP), organized a photography exhibition and a series of events themed “Life on the MAHE Campus.” The initiative was supported by Nikon India.

The celebrations kicked off on August 29, 2024, with a free camera service camp sponsored by Nikon India, providing maintenance and servicing for Nikon camera users. The camp saw participation from over 100 students and staff, who benefited from this valuable service aimed at fostering a supportive photography community on campus.

On August 30, 2024, Nikon India conducted a comprehensive photography workshop, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and staff alike. The workshop covered key photography techniques, equipment handling, and creative tips, helping attendees enhance their skills and deepen their passion for photography.

The highlight of the celebration was a photography exhibition showcasing captivating visuals of the MAHE campus, captured by participants. The exhibition offered a glimpse into the vibrant life and dynamic environment of the campus, reflecting the diverse perspectives of the contributors.

The valedictory ceremony, held on August 30, 2024, was graced by prominent guests, including Dr. Kalyan Kumar Mukherjee, Director of MSAP, MAHE; Sachin Karanth, Deputy Director of PR, Media, and Social Media at MAHE; and representatives from Nikon India, including Suresh Kotian, Mithunraj, Ar. TN Trivikram, and Arun. The ceremony, attended by students and staff, was a fitting conclusion to the successful event, with many praising the high quality of the exhibited works.
