Karwar: Zilla Panchayat CEO Steers Monthly Progress Meeting
Karwar, Jan 18, 2024: Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer, Iswar Kumar Kandoor, spearheaded a monthly progress review meeting today, bringing together executive officers and assistant directors from all taluk panchayats in the district.
The comprehensive meeting delved into the status of various schemes, including MGNREGS, SBM, Sakala, and NRLM. Notably, the progress of initiatives such as gram panchayat tax, HESCOM bill payment, library, and the housing scheme took center stage during the review.

CEO Kandoo emphasized the imperative to prioritize the completion of ongoing and pending works under the MGNREGA scheme. Addressing concerns about sluggish progress in various district projects, he urged officials to expedite efforts for swift advancements.
