Veerendra Heggade Unveils Captivating ‘Deepa Samanvaya’
Dharmasthala, Dec 20, 2023: The special issue of ‘Deepa Samanvaya,’ featuring illustrated writings on Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Lakshdeepotsava, was released by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. The issue was meticulously crafted by students from the Journalism and mass communication department, SDM PG Centre.
During the launch event in Dharmasthala, Dr D Veerendra Heggade delved into the intricacies of photography and the experimental dimensions of print media. He commended the collaborative efforts that went into compiling comprehensive details of Lakshadeepotsava for this special issue.
Dr Heggade emphasized the importance for media students to explore the artistic possibilities within photography. He encouraged the development of creativity in capturing diverse emotions expressed through idols, emphasizing the role of the camera as a tool for expression.
In a captivating moment, Dr Heggade shared significant photographs he had taken in France, elucidating the method of capturing an object from various dimensions. He highlighted that a photograph holds multiple meanings, and its true essence comes to life when observed and captured with a subtle perception.
D. Harshendra Kumar, Secretary of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational Institutions, expressed joy over the special reports, speeches, writings, and photographs contributed by the students. He engaged with the students, listening to their experiences during Lakshdeepotsava, and lauded their efforts.
