Udupi: National Ayurveda Day Celebration on Nov 10
Udupi, Nov 07, 2023: Udupi is gearing up to host a grand celebration in honor of Dhanvantari Jayanti on November 10, 2023. The District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Department of AYUSH, and Ayush Federation of India, Udupi, have come together to organize a National Ayurveda Day program at 9 am. The event will take place at the Ajjarkadu District AYUSH Hospital in the city, showcasing the significance of traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
Minister for Women and Child Development, Empowerment of Differently Abled, and Senior Citizens, as well as the District In-charge Minister, Laxmi R Hebbalkar will inaugurate the event. Meanwhile, MLA Yashpal A Suvarna will preside over the proceedings.
The celebration aims to highlight the importance of Ayurveda and traditional healing methods on Dhanvantari Jayanti, commemorating the birth of Lord Dhanvantari, the divine physician.
