Srinivas University signs MOU with Kanara Industries Association
Mangaluru, October 17, 2023: In a significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, Srinivas University and the Kanara Industries Association (KIA) Bikampady inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on October 16th at Hotel Srinivas.
Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, and the President of KIA, V. Ananthesh Prabhu, exchanged the signed MOU documents, symbolizing a collaborative venture that promises to enrich the learning experience for students.
During his presidential address, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao emphasized the imperative need in today’s industry for candidates equipped with practical exposure. He expressed the university’s enthusiasm in partnering with KIA and underscored the transformative role that industrial experience plays in the holistic development of students, not just academically but also in shaping their overall personality.
V. Ananthesh Prabhu, President of KIA, lauded the MOU, recognizing its potential to broaden students’ opportunities within the industry. In an era of advancing technology, he stressed the significance of industrial training for students’ professional growth and development. Mr. Prabhu expressed KIA’s honor in formalizing this collaboration with Srinivas University.
Athmika Amin, Secretary of KIA, shared her insights and encouraged the student attendees to seize every learning opportunity. She emphasized the pivotal role students play in contributing to society and urged them to actively engage in this collaborative effort, which seeks not only to empower students but also to make a positive societal impact.
