Special Trains to Ease Festival Season Travel
Bengaluru, October 05, 2023: In anticipation of the upcoming festival season, East Central Railway has announced the operation of ten trips of special trains to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic.
The details are as follows:
- Train No. 05271/05272 Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur-Muzaffarpur Weekly Express Special (10 trips)
Train No. 05271 will depart from Muzaffarpur every Friday at 3:30 p.m. from October 6 to December 8, 2023 and arrive Yesvantpur at 7 p.m. on the third day. In the return direction, Train No. 05272 will leave Yesvantpur every Monday at 7:30 a.m. from October 9 to December 11, 2023 and reach Muzaffarpur at 10:30 a.m. on the third day.
The special train will have stoppages at Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, PT. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Ramagundam, Kazipet, Jangaon, Kacheguda, Shadnagar, Jadcharla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Anantapur and Dharmavaram stations in both directions.
- Train No. 05215/05216 Barauni-Yesvantpur-Barauni Weekly Express special (10 trips).
Train No. 05215 will depart from Barauni every Saturday at 1:20 p.m. from October 7 to December 9, 2023 and arrive Yesvantpur at 7 p.m. on the third day. In the return direction, Train No. 05216 will leave Yesvantpur every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. from October 10 to December 12, 2023 and reach Barauni at 2 p.m. on the third day.
The special train will have stoppages at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, PT. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Ramagundam, Kazipet, Jangaon, Kacheguda, Shadnagar, Jadcharla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Anantapur and Dharmavaram stations in both directions
These special trains will have 23 coaches including AC two tier (2), AC three tier (4), Sleeper class (12), general second-class (3), second class luggage cum brake-vans/disabled friendly compartment (2).
