Manipal: Student Club Committees Inaugurated at MCBR
Manipal, Aug 18, 2023: The inauguration of the student clubs “ArTure” (Art and Culture) and “Off the Trail” (Outbound Activities) at Manipal Centre for Biotherapeutics Research (MCBR), MAHE, Manipal, was graced by Manohar Nayak, the Managing Director of Lingo India Pvt. Ltd. and founder of Shankh Sound Studio, Mumbai.
In his address to the attendees, Nayak underlined the paramount importance of pursuing professional endeavors in alignment with personal passions. He accentuated the enduring value of embracing cultural heritage and actively contributing to its promotion for a sense of fulfillment. Mr. Nayak’s inspirational narrative illuminated his personal journey as a storyteller, captivating the audience’s attention.
Dr. Sharath K Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences) of MAHE, and President of the event, applauded MCBR’s commitment to nurturing students’ holistic growth. He underscored India’s rich cultural heritage and underscored the pivotal role that art and culture play in shaping individuals’ lives. Dr. Rao urged students to actively engage in outbound activities alongside their academic pursuits. He recommended students to join both “ArTure” and “Off the Trail” clubs to optimize the benefits of club activities.
Dr. Raviraja NS, Professor and Coordinator at MCBR welcomed the gathering. Ruchitaa Keshav introduced the Chief Guest, while Anamika Ajay, President of the “ArTure” club, and Chirag Shetty, President of “Off the Trail,” provided insights into their respective clubs’ initiatives.
