Srinivas University Signs MoU with IBM India
Mangaluru, June 10, 2023: Srinivas University has embarked on a new initiative aimed at providing students with high-quality computer-based training. In an effort to promote value-based education, the university has partnered with IBM India Pvt. Ltd. to impart practical knowledge and skills through a collaboration with multinational and large companies.
The collaborative effort, unveiled at the MOU signing ceremony between Srinivas University and IBM India Private Limited, held at Srinivas Hotel, on June 9 signifies a significant milestone in fostering cutting-edge learning practices.
Dr. A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor of Srinivas University, expressed his elation at this transformative covenant, highlighting the university’s commitment to incorporating value-driven education into its curriculum.
By teaming up with IBM India Pvt. Ltd., renowned for its expertise and global standing, Srinivas University aims to impart practical knowledge and skills through direct engagement with multinational corporations, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world challenges.
During the ceremony, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University, emphasized the transformative power of building new partnerships in fostering powerful learning experiences. Jagdish Bhatt, the Country Manager for Software Services at IBM India Pvt. Ltd., graced the ceremony as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the aim of developing students’ capabilities, underscoring the importance of competence as a crucial quality for success in the professional world.
