Passenger Reservation System at Gokarna Railway Station
Gokarna, May 31, 2023: Adding another feather to its cap, Konkan Railway will introduce a new passenger amenity – the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) at the Gokarna Railway Station from June 1.
This system aims to provide a seamless ticketing experience for the passengers. The ticketing counter will be operational from 8 am to 2 pm daily, catering to the diverse travel needs of the region.
Konkan Railway Corporation Limited has established Passenger Reservation Counters at 18 strategically located railway stations. These stations include Surathkal, Udupi, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal, Kumta, Karwar in Karnataka State, Madgaon, CBO Panaji, Karmali, and Thivim in Goa State, as well as Sawantwadi, Kudal, Kankawali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Khed, and Mangaon in Maharashtra State.
Additionally, five PRS facilities are operational in India Post Offices located at Canacona, Ratnagiri, Lanja, Sangameshwar, and Mahad.
With the introduction of PRS at Gokarna Railway Station, travelers can now conveniently access ticketing services, ensuring a hassle-free journey.
