Srinivas University Institute of Education joins in global celebration of International Women’s Day
Mangaluru, March 16, 2023: Srinivas University Institute of Education commemorated International Women’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm at the city campus in Pandeshwar. The event was graced by the presence of Priya Rajmohan, Administrator of Sakhi one-stop centre, who also serves as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
In addition, the program featured a keynote address on the theme of “Empowering women in 21st century” by Dr. Pradeep M.D., Associate Professor at the Institute of Social Sciences And Humanities, Srinivas University.
The event was attended by the teaching faculties and students of the Institute of Education, along with the students of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities. Dr. Padmanabha C.H., the Dean of Institute of Education, and Dr. Vijayalakshmi Naik, the Programme Co-Ordinator, were also present.
The celebration of International Women’s Day was a significant step towards recognizing and appreciating the contributions of women towards building a better society.
