Udupi City Central Library praised for providing excellent service
Udupi, March 04, 2023: The Udupi City Central Library is receiving a large number of public readers who are taking advantage of its services, according to Sumitra R Nayak, the president of Udupi City Municipal Council.
Speaking at a recent event where she personally donated double racks for book storage, Sumitra Nayak praised the library for providing good service to the public.
At the same event, Udupi City Council Member Rashmi Chittaranjan Bhat donated 50 new books for children to the library.
Dr. Satish Kumar Hosamani commending the City Municipal Council Chairman and council member for encouraging the development of the library through donations of both books and furniture.
Other notable guests at the event included Mangaluru City Central Library Deputy Director Raghavendra, District Central Library, Mangaluru Chief Library Officer Gayathri, and District Central Library, Udupi Jayashree M.
Nalini G. I., the Chief Librarian of Udupi City Central Library, welcomed the gathering, while Sunita B. S., library assistant, offered prayers. The event was compered by Shakuntala Kunder, first division assistant, who delivered the vote of thanks.
