Karwar: Quality circle teams of Naval Ship Repair Yard awarded Gold grade
Karwar, Sept 22, 2022: All three Quality circle teams- Sahas, Trinetra, and Invictus from Naval Ship Repair Yard-Karwar were awarded Gold grade at Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC-22) held at Mysuru on Sept 18.
The three teams have qualified for the National level Quality Convention scheduled from Dec 27 to 30 at Aurangabad.
Team Sahas was adjudged as the Winner in Knowledge Test out of 148 teams.
Quality Circle teams in each organization are a group of employees that come together to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement them for industrial issues related to manufacturing, services, and administration. A total of 148 QC teams from major industries like TVS, ITC, JK Tyres, Kayeens technologies, and Schneider participated in the Chapter Convention held at Mysuru and presented their case studies. Each case study was graded Gold/ Silver/ Bronze based on its merits. Gold-graded case studies qualify for the National QC Convention.
