Prof Radhakrishna Acharya no more
Udupi, Aug 31, 2022: Former Principal of Poornaprajna Evening College Prof. Padigaru Radhakrishna Acharya breathed his last today.
Son of noted journalist Pa Vem Acharya (Padigaru Venkataramana Acharya), Prof Radhakrishna Acharya served as the lecturer and Head of the Economics Department in PPC and later as the Principal of Poornaprajna Evening College.
Prof Radhakrishna Acharya taught economics with great ease to the students. After his retirement, he was actively involved in social work and associated with various organizations.
A close associate of Sri Vibudhesha Teertha Sripadaru, Prof Acharya continued to work for the Poornaprajna educational institutions even after his retirement.
For about 15 years he served as the vice president of Sri Adamaru Mutt Guest House, Sri Vibudhesha Teertha Memorial Charitable Trust.
He was closely associated with Sri Vibudhesha Teertha Sripadaru, Sri Vishvapriya Teertha Sripadaru, and also Sri Eeshapriya Teertha Sripadaru.
Seers of Adamaru Matha have condoled his demise.
