Uttara Kannada DC interacts with villagers
Karwar, Aug 24, 2022: Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan M Said that by availing of the Ayushman Bharat card, one can avail of treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in government and private hospitals.
He called upon the people to get Ayushman Bharat Card to avail the benefits of the scheme.
He was speaking at the Grama Vastavya program at Angadi village in Mudageri gram panchayat limits of Karwar taluk on August 24.
Everyone should get an Ayushman card through Gram One Centers. Asha workers and Anganwadi workers should provide necessary information and assistance to the public to make this scheme 100 percent successful. With the help of the health department’s Arogya Mitras, treatment up to Rs 5 lakh can be claimed, he said.
The DC said that a gaushala has been constructed at Haliyal and another one will be constructed at Majali in Karwar.
Passbooks were distributed to 8 beneficiaries of the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
Hema Payade and Srikanth Hegde were felicitated for their efforts in linking Aadhar and EPIC in the Panchayat limits.
On this occasion, Karwar Taluk Tahsildar N. F. Noronha, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Ananda Balappagol, Mudigeri Gram Panchayat officials, members, and officials of various departments were present.
