DC’s Grama Vastavya held at Athikaribettu
Mangalore, Aug. 20, 2022: Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada Dr. Rajendra KV expressed happiness over officials delivering government schemes at the doorsteps of the eligible beneficiaries.
He was speaking after inaugurating the DC’s Grama Vastavya program at Atikaribettu village in Mulki taluk on August 20.
“The DC’s Grama Vastavya is a dream project of the government, which is running successfully in Dakshina Kannada district. It is being organized in all taluks of the district. Things have changed and officials are coming to the door steps to listen to the problems of the people,” he said.
“I am happy to see Atikari Bettu village, where people’s representatives and officials have been able to take the government’s schemes to everyone and people are also making use of the schemes provided by the government,” he said.
Understanding that the roads have been damaged due to sand mining – sand transportation that was going on earlier, the MLA has sanctioned Rs 3 crore for the repair works. The work will start soon,” he said.
MLA Umanath Kotian, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Madan Mohan, Tahsildar Guruprasad, Deputy Director of Land Records Niranjan, Gram Panchayat President Manohar Kotian, and other elected representatives, officials of various departments and villagers were present.
