Gerusoppa Ghat opens for light vehicles
Karwar, July 23, 2022: Uttara Kannada district administration has issued an order allowing Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) on NH 69 at Gerusoppa Ghat.
The road was closed for vehicles on July 16 due to landslide on the NH near Gerusoppa.

As the temporary repair works have been completed on this stretch, based on the report by the Assistant Executive Engineer and Tahsildar, the Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal had sent a recommendation to open the stretch.
As a result the Gerusoppa Ghat stretch on NH 69 has been opened for light vehicles till further orders.
The heavy vehicles should take the Kumta-Sirsi route.
