Rain damages three houses in Brahmavar
Udupi, June 27, 2022: Two houses were severely damaged and one partially due to rain in Brahmavar taluk of Udupi district.
The house of Prakash in Uppur village and Venkatesh of Vaddarse village were completely damaged due to rain. The loss is estimated to be Rs 1 lakh each.
Meanwhile, Bhaskar Shettigar’s house at Haradi village was damaged partially. The loss is said to be Rs 30,000.
Udupi district recorded an average rainfall of 34.4 mm on Monday morning.
