IMD issues Yellow Alert for Coastal Karnataka districts
Udupi, June 20, 2022: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an yellow alert for the Coastal Karnataka district for the next few days.
The IMD bulletin of June 20 afternoon has forecasted widespread heavy rainfall in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada district till June 24 morning.
The rain is likely to be between 64 mm and 15.5 mm.
Thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka is likely from June 20 to June 24.
