Srinivas University: Department of Forensic Science organizes field trip to Link IRCA
Mangaluru, March 05, 2022: Department of Forensic Science, Srinivas University organized a field trip to Link Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts on March 4.
The event was for the students pursuing Masters in Forensic science and Masters in Forensic Science & Criminology to make them understand the functions and procedures of rehabilitation centre and also about addiction, the care to be provided to regain the physical, mental and cognitive abilities.
Dhananjay, Project Coordinator, Link Integrated Rehabilitation Centre was the resource person. He spoke about the core factors causing addiction, the biological, psychological, social and environmental aspects that influence addicts. Two inmates shared their experience. Malavika, student of Forensic Science delivered the vote of thanks.
