Karwar, Feb 15, 2022: Sant Sevalal Jayanthi was celebrated at Karwar on Tuesday.
The program was organized by District Administration in association with Kannada and Culture department.
Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan offered floral tributes to Sant Sevalal and inaugurated the program.
“Sant Sevalal had a great concern about the environment. His teachings are relevant events today. He had stressed on water conservation and protection of cattle,” Assistant Commissioner Jayalakshmi Rayakoda told during the talk at the inaugural program.
Banjara community is rich in art and culture. Sant Sevalal was a great leader of the community.
District Land Records Department Deputy Director Raju Poojary, Kannada, and Culture Assistant Director N G Naik, and Banjara Community leaders were present.
