Workshop on Python Programming held at St Mary’s College
Shirva, Dec 10, 2021: A workshop on Python program was held at St Mary’s College, Shirva today.
The workshop was jointly organized by the Computer Science Department of St Mary’s College, and Sri Madhva Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal.
SMVITM Computer Science and Engineering department head Dr. Nagaraj Bhat was the Chief Guest of the program.
Stressing on the important role of Python Program, he defined it as important in the development of modern technology in designing computer software.
Sharath Kumar, Senior Assistant Professor of SMVITM who was the resource person took the Hands-on Training to the students in this workshop.
St Mary’s College principal Dr Herald Ivan Monis presided over the program.
“Python has been implementing programming in a unique way to create the latest human-robot. Every computer student must have the knowledge of the job market and learn such current trends, ” he said.
“Scientists and software engineers have evolved over the past two decades with the use and adoption of Python as it evolves into modern software such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence,” Computer Science Department head Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar said in his opening address.
Lecturer Prakash, Sushma, Divyasree, BCA students, Teaching and non-teaching faculties were present. Students of SMVITM Vaishnavi, Vikram, and college students Varsith Shetty and Vidhata Shetty assisted the workshop.
