Covid-19: India records 6,822 new cases, lowest in 558 days
New Delhi, Dec 07, 2021: India recorded 6,822 new cases in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest in 558 days.
According to Union Health Ministry, India’s active caseload stands at 95,014, which is the lowest in 554 days.
The active cases account for less than 1% of total cases, currently at 0.27% which is the lowest since March 2020. The Recovery rate currently is at 98.36%.
The country has recorded 10,004 recoveries in the last 24 hours increasing the total recoveries to 3,40,79,612.
While the Daily positivity rate (0.63%) is less than 2% for the last 64 days, the Weekly Positivity Rate (0.78%) is less than 1% for the last 23 days.
