Covid: Karnataka to take strict action
Mangaluru, Nov 27, 2021: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has directed the officials to take strict measures to control Covid in the state.
During CM’s video conference with the senior officials and Deputy Commissioner, the CM stressed screening at all college campus and hostels and conducting RTPCR tests. The meeting decided to give special emphasis on medical and paramedical students.
Officials have also been asked to increase both RTPCR and RAT and improve contact tracing.
The district administrations have been asked to keep an eye on cluster cases and strict enforcement and screening in the border area by activating check posts.
The officials have been directed to monitor the movement of people from Kerala, other states, and countries.
Frequent Screening of educational institutions and conducting vaccination on priority too were discussed.
