Udupi, Nov 16, 2021: The four-day Lakshadeepotsava commenced at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha today.

After the ‘Ksheerabdhi,’ at Madhva Sarovara, Chamara Seve was offered by Paryaya Peetadhipathi Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru.

The Utsava Moorthi of Sri Krishna and Sri Mukhyaprana placed in the ‘Ratha,’ were taken in the procession. The Utsava Moorthi of Sri Chandreshwara and Sri Anantheshwara were on the other chariot.

Despite Udupi receiving rain throughout the day, Lakshadeepotsva was held uninterrupted without any rain.


Tulasi Pooja, Ksheerabdhi held at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha

Udupi, Nov 16, 2021: On the occasion of Uthana Dwadashi, Seers of Udupi offered ‘Ksheerabhi,’ at the Mantapa situated in Madhva Sarovara on Tuesday evening.

Ksheerabdhi was offered by Sri Vidyarajeshwara Tirtha (Palimaru Matha), Vidyavallabha Tirtha (Kaniyoor Matha), Vishwaprasanna Tirtha (Pejawara Matha), Vidhyadhisha Tirtha (Palimaru senior Pontiff), Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha (Adamaru Matha), Sri Vidyasagara Tirtha (Krishnapura Matha), and Paryaya Peetadhipathi Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru.

Ksheerabdhi marks the awakening of Sri Vishnu after four months of‘ Yoga Nidra.’

The Nityotsava to Sri Krishna at Udupi commences today and will continue till Bhagirathi Janmadina (in June).

Udupi, Nov 16, 2021: On the occasion of ‘Uthana Dwadashi,’ Paryaya Peetadhipathi Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru offered ‘Tulasi Pooja,’ in the morning.

In the evening, ‘Ksheerabdhi’ will be held at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha prior to ‘Laksha Deepotsava,’ celebration.

In the early morning, Sri Eeshapriya Tirtha Sripadaru offered Paschima Jagara Pooja. The Pooja is held for one month ending today.
