Training for civil service aspirants inaugurated in Udupi
Udupi, Oct 22, 2021: Free training for the youth aspiring to appear for Civil Service Examinations was inaugurated at Udupi today.
Udupi DC M Kurma Rao asked the youth from the district to make the best use of the training program and enter the Civil service.
“We are thinking of providing the training in both offline and online mode. Students should know about themselves first and then about the field they are interested in. Any failure in the path of achievement should not hinder the spirit. The effort will bear fruit and will lead to success,” the DC said.
“Only 1 percent youth take up competitive exams like UPSC and KPSC. Youth should come forward to take up civil service. People in Udupi are not keen on civil service. The number is considerably more in states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh,” Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. Naveen Bhat noted.
Additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu, Superintendent of Police Vishnuvardhan, and senior officials were present.
