Kundapur: Man falls from Coconut tree, dies
Udupi, Oct 18, 2021: A person who fell from a coconut tree died on Sunday.
Police said Rama Gowda (45) of Aloor village in Kundapur Taluk had climbed the coconut tree to pluck coconut on October 11. He accidentally fell from about 25 feet and sustained injuries.
Rama was immediately rushed to a private hospital at Kundapur and then to Manipal. For further treatment, he was taken to Government Wenlock Hospital. As the Ayushman Bed was not vacant there, he was admitted to a private Hospital near Surathkal.
He did not respond to treatment and died on October 17. Gangolli police have registered as Unnatural Death Report (UDR).
