Thundershowers likely in Coastal districts
Udupi, Oct 06, 2021: Coastal Karnataka districts are likely to experience heavy rain accompanied by lightning in the next few days.
Many places in the Coastal districts are experiencing frequent heavy rains accompanied by lightning and heavy wind in the last few days. This is likely to continue for few more days, according to India Meteorological Department’s warning issued on October 6.
“Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka. The rain may exceed 64.5 mm,” the IMD stated. The warning is till October 11 morning.
Meanwhile, in the next two days (till Oct 9th morning) isolated places in the coastal districts are also likely to witness thunderstorms with lightning.
