DK aims to vaccinate 1.50 lakh people on Sept 17

Mangaluru, Sept 14, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district administration aims to vaccinate 1.50 lakh people during the Mega Vaccination Mela on September 17.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K V held a meeting on Covid management at his office today.

“The Mela will be held throughout the district. We aim at vaccinating 1.50 lakh people on that day. People should join hands to make it a success,” he said.

Zilla Panchayat CEO Dr. Kumar said that the Asha and Anganwadi workers should visit every house and prepare a list of those who have not been vaccinated.

“A list should be prepared by collecting details from the PDOs, Gram Panchayat members, and officials. Steps should be taken to vaccinate all,” he said.

DHO Dr. Kishore, District Surgeon Sadashiva Shanbhag, and others were present.
