 Temple entry restriction to continue for Dharmasthala and Kukke

Mangaluru, Sept 07, 2021: The Dakshina Kannada district administration has issued a revised order on the continuation of restrictions on the entry to Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple and Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala during weekends with some relaxations.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K V issued an order in connection to this today.

Details of the order:

  • Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala and Sri Kukke Subrahmanya Tempe will be open from 7 am to 7 pm every day. The temple administration should ensure social distancing and other Covid precautionary measures and allow Darshan, Tirtha Prasadam, and Anna Santarpane till further order. However there will be no sevas.
  • During the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) the entry for the devotees to these temples is not allowed. Devotees cannot stay at the guesthouses and no darshan is allowed.
  • All types of Utsav, Sevas, Tirtha, Prasadam, Mudi Seve are not allowed on Saturday and Sunday. Archaks should perform the daily Pooja rituals.
  • A complete ban on Jatre, Utsav, and processions.
