Minister C C Patil visits rain affected places in Uttara Kannada
Karwar, Aug 31, 2021: PWD Minister C C Patil directed the officials to take up on priority the repair works of infrastructures that were damaged due to the recent rains at Kalache and Arbail Ghat.
Assuring this, PWD Minister C C Patil told reporters at Circuit House that the team has visited the spots and examined the losses in the district.
“I have asked the officials to take Arbail Ghat and Kalache on priority. The two places have suffered major damages. A special expert committee will be formed to ensure quality repair work,” he said.
“We have asked the officials to submit a report (on repair works related to rain damages) at the earliest. Alternate arrangements have been made for the Anshi road. Rs 110 crore will be released for the district PWD section and 100 crores for the Zilla Panchayat section.
District Incharge Minister Shivaram Hebbar, MLAs Roopali Naik, Dinakar Shetty, Sunil Naik, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, and others were present.
