Khader seeks CM’s help to bring back stranded Kannadigas
Mangaluru, Aug 18, 2021: Former Minister and Mangaluru MLA U T Khader has requested the Chief Minister to help people from Karnataka stranded in Afghanistan.
Khader wrote a letter to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today.
“Many people from Dakshina Kannada and Karnataka are working in Afghanistan. Their family members here are scared after the recent development there,” he said in the letter.
“The state government should take necessary steps to bring them and their family members back. To provide information to the family members and to build confidence, the state government should appoint a senior officer as a nodal officer,” he added.
