Road work to resume in Ankola from Aug 16

Karwar, Aug 11, 2021: The work of Shirakuli Cross-Kanakaneshwara Temple road in Ankola taluk will resume shortly.

After the tender procedure, the road work was conferred on RBS Gaonkar of BSG infrastructure for ₹ 2 crores. It has to be completed in 9 months including the monsoon. But the work was delayed due to Covid.

The district administration issued notice to the contractors warning that the delay was creating a problem for the public. Following this, the contractor has assured to resume work from August 16.
