Workshop on Ice Carving held at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Aug 06, 2021: A workshop on Ice Carving was held at the College of Hotel Management and Tourism, Srinivas University on August 5.

Shailesh, Associate Professor, Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, was the resource person. He spoke about the importance of Ice Carving in hotels and Foodservice Premises and exhibited the skills needed to make professionally carved ice sculptures in various styles and shapes.

Rahul, Assistant Professor of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust was the other resource person. The workshop was organized by Prashant Prabhu, Assistant Professor, College of Hotel Management and Tourism. More than 70 students of the college participated in the event.

Students actively joined hands in the process of preparing ice sculptures.

Prof. Swaminathan, Dean, College of Hotel Management and Tourism extended the floral welcome to the resource persons. Mohammed Shahir (BHMCT 4th sem)presented the vote of thanks.
